Artemis II

Artemis II by AP Limited Editions celebrates NASA’s historic return of human explorers to the Moon. A celestial expanse of crushed raden and gold and silver hirame powders shimmers beneath layers of midnight-blue urushi, polished through the demanding togidashi technique. The Moon is formed from luminous white mother-of-pearl, its craters delicately rendered in burnished platinum powder. The rocket rises towards the lunar horizon with a brilliant flame of gold hirame and vermilion urushi. Trails of smoke, worked in gold, silver and platinum togidashi Maki-e, evoke the immense power of its ascent. The nib section features red, white and blue raden, scattered with hyomon stars, while the AP Limited Editions logo appears in gold against radiant blue raden.
