AP Limited Editions presents a very unique Urushi Lacquer Art special finishes collection of fine writing instruments inspired by the mysteries of the infinite Universe and the spectrum of textures found in the Cosmos.

This fountain pen is crafted in a special Urushi technique representing the basaltic texture of the craters that dot the surface of Earth’s Moon. Early astronomers thought they had discovered actual ‘seas’ but they are in fact darker areas of iron rich deposits that probably emanated from volcanic eruptions.
