NATURE'S BOUNTY

Inspired by the imperial workshops of the Mughal period of ancient Indian history; AP Limited Editions presents – NATURE’S BOUNTY, an exquisite depiction of an enameled scabbard from the early 18th century. The effect of guilloche is very cleverly executed in a Maki-e backdrop against which flowers and birds are intricately displayed. The high level of artistry in design and technique is reminiscent of the skill and perfection of the traditional artisans of the Mughal court and the scope and distinction of the Maki-e Shi.
