Admiring the Waterfall is inspired by the work of legendary Ukiyo-e painter Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849) and is a fine tribute to the glory of Nature and the magic and beauty of cascading mountain streams.

The exquisite detail in Maki-e, is captured through intricately crafted pieces of varied shades of Blue Raden cascading down a golden landscape of sun kissed rocks defined in small pieces of Gold Kirikane and Gold and Platinum powders.

A solitary figure of a lady (crafted in colored Urushi and Silver powder in the Taka Maki-e technique); gazes at the beauty of the cascading Waterfall in perfect stillness.
