Crafted with a delicate fusion of Togidashi Maki-e and Hiramaki-e techniques, its luminous design is brought to life through the intricate process of cutting and aligning narrow strips of great green turban shell, a task requiring exceptional precision. Multiple layers of urushi lacquer are carefully applied and burnished to achieve depth and radiance. To enhance its brilliance, gold and platinum Hirame powder is delicately sprinkled across the top and bottom, while Kirikane, gold Hirame powder, and shell bits adorn the nib section, adding a final touch of celestial shimmer.
