AP Limited Editions presents a charming rendition of two Owls against the backdrop of a full Moon and Pine.

This stunning feature in Maki-e is evocative of the subtle color palette that is witnessed in very traditional works of Japanese Lacquer Art. This fine work of art features Takamaki-e ("raised" Maki-e technique used for the Owl and Pine tree); and Hirame (flat) gold powder on the pinecones. The lustrous mirror finish was achieved through a meticulous polishing process known as Roiro.
