URUSHI - LUSTROUS SHELLS

This unique Urushi Lacquer Art pen was meticulously crafted by affixing shells of Asari, Hamaguri and other types of clams using a mixture of rice flour and lacquer.

Several layers of lacquer were applied, polished and finished with a technique called Douzuri to create this fabulous product.
